Gautier Council Rejects Proposed Cottage Development
A 43-unit Mississippi Cottage development on the south side of U.S. 90 and west of Beasley Road was rejected on a 5-2 vote by the Gautier City Council during its Tuesday meeting. A public hearing drew citizens who spoke against the project, which would have included businesses fronting U.S. 90 and one- and two-bedroom cottages south to Old Spanish Trail on about five acres.
